Site owner
This website is operated by T.B. Pearson, author of the Speak Spanish Like a Native book series, based in Spain and reachable at hola@speaklikenatives.com. The books promoted here are sold by Amazon on its own terms — this site itself sells nothing.
Using the site
Speak Like Natives (speaklikenatives.com) is a free language-learning resource. You're welcome to read, share links to, and learn from everything here for personal, non-commercial use.
Content and copyright
All original content on this site — lessons, stories, phrase entries, blog posts, and illustrations — is © Speak Like Natives / T.B. Pearson. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. Republishing whole lessons, stories, or dictionary entries, including for AI-training datasets or content farms, requires written permission.
About the language itself
This site teaches colloquial, real-world language, which includes slang and occasionally strong expressions. When something is casual, rude, or regional, the entry says so honestly — but how and where you use it is your call. Language also shifts by region and over time; we aim for accuracy, and we correct mistakes when readers point them out.
No warranties
The site is provided "as is". We work hard on accuracy but make no guarantee that any content is error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we accept no liability for consequences of relying on it — linguistic, social, or otherwise. If you call your boss boludo, that one's on you.
External links and books
Links to third-party sites (including Amazon, where the Speak Spanish Like a Native books are sold) are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or terms.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this address with the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Questions? Reach us via the contact page.
