• perdona el retraso — a light, natural apology for arriving late, less formal than “disculpa la tardanza.”
• no pasa nada — “no worries,” the standard, warm response to someone else’s small apology.
• qué detalle — “that’s thoughtful,” used to acknowledge a nice gesture.
• ¿qué te apetece? — “what do you feel like having,” softer and more natural than “¿qué quieres?” when offering someone a choice.
